The First Swing
Last Friday night I hit my first golf ball after work at Marina Green. Needless to say I was very excited to be able to finally practice after the first theory lesson with Sharon, a former U.S LPGA Pro. She was very patient and precise in her instructions. Isky was right - she was good. Sulaiman, Joyce, Kathryn and I all had a good time.
Lots of activities this month for me. I’m almost done with the packing. Almost all of my stuff are now stored in cardboard boxes waiting to be moved to our new place. I’ll be spending the upcoming Tuesday till Friday in Jakarta meeting clients. Back for the final packing of all of my stuff into boxes. The following week’s Monday night for another class of golf. Next day Tuesday till the Monday after at Melbourne with Ridwan, Leon and the rest for a six-days holiday, and to activate my Australian permanent resident visa.
My investment portfolio hasn’t performed too badly this month - adding 50% already so far. I could increase my cash allocation towards the end of the month in preparation for May, where there is a release of a slew of several key U.S economic data, and FY07 Q1 company results, and of course from a technical standpoint, the probability of a technical correction in the markets is higher since its rebound from February. Let’s wait and see.
With a sigh of relief, I’m happy that my women’s troubles have finally taken a breather. Two potential problems have been eliviated. Phew! Clear blue skies again.
