A Sunday Reflection
After working for six days, it’s great to be able to take a break on Sunday. It’s 9.45am. I woke up just a while ago. As I type this entry, I glance out of the window and find the weather just beautiful – a backdrop of a cloudy sky with occasional strong wind that sweeps through the rows of trees and shrubs by the road.
A man with an agenda to slack today couldn’t ask for better ambience to laze against. I feel like going out for a swim today, to continue on my swim last Sunday. With a stack of new DVDs imported from Harko including Broken Flowers, Rumour Has It, Green Street Hooligans etc to keep me company on a relaxing Sunday afternoon..oohh! I can’t wait!
It’s at times like these that I realise at heart I’m just a man with simple wants. A good book; watching a good film with a company of good food keeps me entertained and happy.
A combination of a fast-paced career and a really lazy Sunday to chill out turns out to be a great balance at this point in my life.
I shall now venture out of this room to look for food.
